Noticed way too many for a production of this scale.

I always wonder how this gets by with nobody noticing.

It was filmed to recreate the effect of being shot with a home movie camera. The beach concert shots especially look like old home movie footage, but they are NOT!!

well even if that is the case, it's still very dumb to use that method

off axis shots are hard to follow.

btw are you sure you know what 'off axis' means? i am not referring to the camera, it's the editor that creates off axis effects.

Yes. But that's by the by. If they are not noticeable and do not distract from the experience of the film and its story then whatever conventional framing/editing rules have been broken, the film has broken them successfully.
