Pilot in existance?

So the latest buzz is that ABC has rejected it, a terrible decision on their behalf. Has there been any talk about pitching it elsewhere? The show could do well on a premium service channel and also allow for the swear-athon that the original was. I can't imagine this many brilliant minds coming together for a project and dismissing it simply because a crap production company like ABC turns in down in lieu of a sitcom entirely based off of the caveman from a geico commercial. Most importantly though, does anyone know if the pilot was actually made yet? This is the most excited I've ever been for the debut of an American television show, I'd hate to see ever bit of it flushed down the drain.
