Not Really All That Bad (may contain spoiliers!!!)

This movie was in no way shape or form anywhere near as bad as described by 99.9% of reviewers on IMDb. Now is this movie great? No. Is there better? Well, yeah, much better. But (now this is the true question) is this (or among) the worst? After finally watching this movie last night on a pay channel for $3.99 I can honestly answer no. It's not the worst. Maybe nearing the area of the worst but for the most part it was a fairly entertaining, kinda psychological, horror/thriller. The added plot twist is rather obvious IF you're looking for it. I was just obliviously watching it not looking for it so when it came I was kinda surprised. Then kicked myself for not realizing it anyway but you can't have everything. The setting is perfect, what kind of movie that takes place completely in a mental hospital not at least somewhat good? Now throw in the Grim Reaper stalking a bunch of kids throughout the facility and you've got an added 30% of excitement. Could the Grim Reaper (the actual character) have been better? No because it was thee Grim Reaper. Cloak, hood, the whole 9 yards. Could the movie have been better? Yeah, they could have had the title character in it much more. He had very little screen time, although the time he had was pretty interesting. Never really boring or slow. Just the anticipation of seeing the Grim Reaper might make this film seem a little slower than what it is. A very well deserved and earned 7 outta 10.

Not much and none. But how many better grim reaper movies have you seen with the actual grim reaper? Um... since none exist...

I never said it was the best movie in the world but it wasn’t the worst. People were just getting mad because the grim reaper was hardly in the movie, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t good. It IS disappointing to expect to see him more and not but that doesn’t mean it was a bad movie.

Ok.. now you lost me. In my humble opinion, a movie rated "7" is VERY good. What i mean is; how bad would a movie have to be to get a "3" in your book? Or do you just rate from 5 and upwards? Richter scale, perhaps?

As i see it, a perfect 10 cannot be achieved. It would have to be absolutely flawless and to everyones liking 100% of its runtime. That leaves us (me) with a 9 as the highest possible score. And there.. just two notches below - i find your reaper. I'm just saying, is all. :)

To get a 3, a movie would have to be on Sci-Fi Channel standards. Then, even a 3 would be being nice.

And as I see it, Pulp Fiction gets a perfect 10. Easily.

stay off the drugs please, 99.9% people think this pile of trash is indeed crap, really is because the movie was a waste of time and money. Its not even B-movie material, its just utter soap tosh put into a movie format.

no saving graces at all, the cast/director/producers (probably some kids that wanted to see how far 20 bucks would get them) all deserve to get shot.

hell the only reason i wanted to see it was because of the title and poster, i believe almost all unlucky people who has seen it has done so due to the same reasons.

Who gives a crap, so the guy likes the movie, everybody has their own opinion why the hell should you care he's not telling you, you have to like it. I never seen the film but even if I think it's bad I am not going to judge the guy for liking it. That's the problem with most of the people who post on IMDBs message boards you always judge a person who likes a film that you don't like.

Screw these other people, yes this isn't the greatest movie out there and that is obvious, but what was also obvious to me(and should have been to everyone) was that going into the film i knew it was a low budget horror flick and set my expectations accordingly.

It may be "Bad" but i have without a doubt seen a slew of worse low budget horror films.
