More importantly, who is she really? "Oh yeah, I remember now, I'm the descendant of the darkest dynasty in chinese history destined and raised to become the vessel for Mandarin to rise again. I kill you now!"

Hehe. Yeah that's exactly what I thought.
I mean, since she's supposed to be destined beeing the vessel of the Mandarin, remembering "who you are" can only mean fulfilling this destiny, and thus condemn all of mankind.
Anywho, I liked her character.

moreover, how many times has the remember who you are (insert name here) and then the bad guy comes back to the good side line/scenario been used in movies? totally cliche but then again this movie sucked ass to begin with so.... heres to hoping the dr strange movie is better!

I agree with that. During the final scene I was thinking to myself, "What is this? The Li Mei show with special guest Iron Man?!!"

I thought that the the emphasis on Li Mei's character TOTALLY through the movie out.

Also, was she the villain or not?

-First she is shown to be on the 'bad guys' side.
-Then she turns against them and helps the 'good guys'.
-Then you find out that the 'bad guys' were actually trying to prevent the city from rising and trying to STOP the real bad guy.
-Then it turns out the Li Mei is 'destined' to be the real bad guys vessel. Over which she is sad (boo hoo hoo).
