..and the story goes on

Let me start by saying that i was quite excited to grab the DVD of the movie and was heading home to watch this really disturbing story of a group of people kept hostage in a particular bar; it was alleged that the scenes were indeed disturbing and the fact that the script was inspired by a true story made by "appetite" grow.

And here we go...22 minutes of wasted script and movie...dull dialogues (cant imagine peole talking like that in 2007), unrelated events (dont wanna spoil that although has really nothing to do with the movie) and a long concert scene to follow up with again very bad acting.

So i said nevermind lets see what happens...i must tell you...the best part of the movie is where the "gang" walks in to the bar where all the incidents are bound to happen...events start to unfold and tension rises..very good acting especially from Nejat Isler, Hakan Boyav and Serdar Orcin, really make you feel disturbed.

ANd guess what...A classic...we are back at a court room and we focus on the trial of the criminals...why? do we need to hear those dialogues between the prosecutor and the judge? dont know what they were thinking...

Some words for the ending as well...actually nevermind doesnt worth the try...

To sum up...Turkish Cinema really needs some new "eyes" and ideas...everyone involved should realise that good marketing doesnt make a movie good...as this was the whole issue with this movie...actors "scrolling" on every turkish channel....

I cannot underestant what they are really thinking...really...its like people have this good idea for a film, start to put it together, start writing the script but in the half way theyre bored or something, find some good actors but somehow surround them with some people that make you laugh when acting, and finally end the movie in such way that you can see them say "phewww thank god its over guys...were done...thats a wrap"

No need to say anything else...
