I really liked it...

I thought Ralf Little in particular was stunning. A really subtle performance in a really subtle film... And a real departure for him. In a world where so much is overplayed I thought it was very refreshing.

Great cast, beautifully shot & beautifully played out. Might not be everyone’s cup of tea but for anyone interested in an intelligent, well-made British movie that carries a uniquely British tenderness, I would highly recommend it.

I like it too. I don't usually like Ralf but as you say, he did give a good performance (with the aid of a prosthetic too)! I thought the entire cast were really well balanced and all the little dramas were nicely tied up. Good couple of hours spent.

Yes, Ralf Little was good, and so was Phyllida Law. I suppose they all were good. Adrian Bower, who played Anna's ex husband (the children's presenter) was a spunk! Shame he was hardly in it, hey?

I guess I won't say I really liked it, just that it was okay.

yes, cute little film. i love when films drag me to the screen without having a real plot. THAT is when you know they do something right. those are the movies with depth and people whose character and actions they make you to think about.

I really liked it also. I recognized most of the actors, but not Raf Little. I'll have to keep an eye out for what else he's done. He was pretty low-key in this, but it worked very well. The entire cast was good (and believable) in this little charmer.
