Question re: Lyrics to Future Lovers

On the CD, it clearly sounds like she's saying: Connect to the sky, future lovers ride, there in mission style, would you like to try.
In the concert though, it sounds like she's saying Connect to the sky, future lovers ride, their ambtion's high, would you like to try.
So I went on-line to clear this up and looked up the lyrics. Well, both sets show up on various sites! One even mixes both versions in the song.
Does anyone know for sure, since the lyrics aren't released with the DVD what she is singing. It honestly sounds like Ambition on the tour and Mission on the CD. I guess I should try to use the captioning on my DVD player but even that isn't always reliable.

I've always heard "their ambitions high" on the cd, so maybe it's your imagination :-) Seriously, after a while when you are used to something, you'll hear what you want to hear. I believe the Japanese version had a lyrics booklet, so maybe you should search for that. I'm not sure though...

Yeah, you're correct. Even when I've found out I've been singing/saying a lyric incorrectly, it's hard to break the habit & use the correct lyric.
Lyric books aren't always correct either. Back in 1986 I bought the piano/sheet music book for Janet Jackson's record, Control. The lyrics to Nasty were WAY off.
In the song the lyrics are clearly "Better be a gentleman, or you turn me off."
In the book it reads: "A bathtub full of gentlemen only turns me off."
Now that's just a stupid lyric that didn't even come close to sounding like that on the song. Same thing with Grease's You're The One That I Want. Every single publishing of the lyrics to that song says Sandy sings "If you're filled with affection, your too shy to convey, meditate in my direction, feel your way." Ever since I was 10 in 1978 & first saw Grease & listened to the soundtrack (over & over!) I felt it was "Better take my direction, feel your way." I've seen Olivia Newton-John in concert several times (most recently in 2003) and every time I've heard her sing YTOTIW live, she says "Better take," not "Meditate." Just had to get that rant out! Sorry to have rambled!

I guess I can hear Mission Style on the CD since it's suggested on lyrics on the web. But on the DVD of the show, it doesn't sound a thing like Mission Style. Ambition's High all the way.

its mission because on the official piano music book with lyrics it says mission

Like I said, the CD sounds like Mission Style, the concert sounds like Ambtion's High.........
