His auditions must really suck if he can't get any work since Lost (before that he couldn't even ride on the success train from LOTR days).
Kinda feel sorry for this guy because he isn't attactive at all and if his acting can't make up for it then he needs to move back home to Germany and become something else.
To be honest, I think he's quite attractive.

OOh! i have read that he is so nice to do that for his fans. And some people say he is stuck up thats a load of bull. If he was he wouldn't reply to that message! So i just think everybody thinks that by the way he looks they don't know how he really is and don't know who he is. Unless they watched lotr or lost i mean we don't know how he acts when the cameras aren't there. And thats alright because that is he's personal life and thats fine everyone needs one. But we do know him well enough to know that he is a wonderful kind person and if asked something he wouldn't leave it not answered unless it was about he's personal life. Does anybody get what i mean?? And not trying to get anyone pissed off i'm just saying that the people i know think he is stuck up by the way he looks and it kinda pissed me off so i just wanted to say something.

And he is attractive, but everyone has an opinion. His looks may not do anything for you, but other people seem to think they're fine. Just like I don't think Jake Gyllanhaal is attractive, but a lot of people think he's hot.
My daughter had the pleasure to meet him during the filming. She is one scene in the movie and had the opportunity to meet Dom. She is 10 and he treated her and the others fantastic. Haidyn, my daughter, also thought he was funny and cute. As a Mom, he was wonderful and kind and I truly appreciated the way he embraced the kids. Although it wasn't a lengthy visit, he proved to me that he is a wonderful man with a lot of heart! He will be working A LOT!
