The Kind of Dark Comedy Only Brits can Pull it off

Well technically it was directed by an Irish man, but since the whole theme is set in England so....

Anyhow I didn't come in with a whole lot of expectations, from the trailer I know it was gonna be somewhat cheesy, but I was rather pleasantly surprised.

The alien corpse part and that one foot zombie totally cracked me up. I was basically all dying when I saw them, just for these two segments alone this movie is worth the one and half hour I spent watching it. And of course, there is a whole lot of other things I really liked, but these two scenes take the crown.

Overall, I would give this a 7.5/10, I honestly think you have to be a bit twisted in the way you appreciate humor to really like this. I definitely had a great time though.

I was surprised by it too. It was very funny although not at all in obvious ways. it was also excellent in terms of sets, locations, costumes, etc.

Conform or be cast out

I liked it more than I thought I would but the scene that cracked me up the most was when the lady with "The Face" took her mask off in front of the two guys and the caged zombie and the zombie was screaming as well! Lol

The footless zombie and alien zombie cracked me up as well.

I got the feeling it would have worked better as perhaps a stage play.

The film was OK. It just didn't grab me at any point for more than a brief snigger. No raging laughter or anything.

Nothing wrong with the film at all. Just nothing amazing, I felt.

This movie was *beep* atrocious, I just switched it off about 25 mins in. 6.0? Really? I have never walked out of a theatre (idiots and trolls do that), I rarely switch off a movie, but Jesus Christ! There is dry humour and there is stale.

Leave the dark *beep* to us Brits and keep with your own *beep* fartgags, teen parties, hangovers, superbads, American cakes and crap.

Opinions are just onions with pi in them.

Err... This *is* a Brit film, is it not?

Nope, 100% US with the exception of 2 or 3 actors, the fact there is a kid who can't do an english accent to save himself should be a giveaway.

You know what? I think your a troll. Not only that, but your a bit of a wanker troll. The writer/director is from Dublin. Yeah it was filmed in New York, but so what? I thought it was brilliant and clearly underappreciated; especially by the likes of you.
