here is the true story

The documentary is way flawed. Utterly fascinating... but it left out a lot of key physical and other evidence.

It does, however, show how amazingly bad the defense was at assessing how people (i.e. a jury) perceive things. If only those boys had listened to the women on their team who kept trying to tell them....

The Staircase is excellent, but is not accurate. The film makers left much of the evidence on the cutting room floor.
