Most horrible scene

My choice would be the one from the hooligan days, where the metro enters the station and already a huge crowd of really bad-a.. fans with knives, axes and a rather menacing attitude prepares to enter the wagon. This scene scares the *beep* out of me ...

reply

The scenes where they had their brains blown out were pretty horrible

reply

That scene is fake and would never really happen, firms don't use weapons, like 10 inch knives, I should know, I seen Green Street Hooligans!

It was a joke/serious remark, by the way GSH is a British film, not an American film, it was never marketed in the states and only has one actor in it who you would consider American.

Pat Tate smashing the pizza kid to pieces. Brutal and shocking, to say the least.

Pain and truth? I'm a fat fuqqin' crook from New Jersey!

reply

yeh I agree, when Pat attacks the pizza kid- thats pretty darn brutal
not easy viewing

Wow, sugar puss, you've certainly been a busy little bee.

reply

I'd have to say the montage where they're trying to get information out of the guys for 3 days...The flashes were horrific. Pause them and have a really good look. That Pat and the little pizza kid too, agreed, very very hard to stomach. Brutal movie. 8.5/10

Yeah its one of those times you wake up in the morn and go *beep* what happened there". Check for blood on your clothes ,and then go back down to the bar to see if anyone remembers anything. Great stuff!

Cop: You're going to burn for this, Angel.
Harry Angel: I know. In hell.

To me too it's the scene where Pat attacks the pizza boy,it was so brutal and it actually scared me verry much

What do you do when the only person who can help you stop crying,is the one that made you cry?

reply

and funny

reply

Actually, the preview for GSH was shown in US theaters, but it didn't play in the theater I go to. I just waited for the DVD.

reply

Green street is *beep* really quite bad

reply

The scene showing the quick flashes of what the foreign gangsters were doing to those guys whilst they were tied down, like biting into their shoulders. Yeah, Pat giving that luckless pizza guy a chelsea grin was pretty *beep* up aswell

"cook the man some eggs!"

yeah, me too

reply

Wow, this Movie is rly disgusting, only thing that makes it a bit easier to watch is the look of Carlton and Tony, makes me giggle all time, the hair and their acting.
Still rly hard to watch , torturing 3 days was hardest imo

reply

If you know some history of this story the part when they go to the kids house who tried to shoot Pat and beat him with bats. In real life this apparently took over 3 (maybe 5) hours and the guy was burnt with fags, made to eat crap and generally abused big time. Sure its not too graphic in the film but if you know this before hand it doesnt sit well.

The worst part was the pizza cutting. As it involved a non-gangland person and gives the feeling that you yourself could be subjected to this if you were really unlucky.

reply

poor little *beep* made to eat shyte?? Wouldn't you rather just let em kill you? I think I would. I couldn't live with myself after it...

Where'd you find this stufff out, laserguy? I wouldn't mind doing some back-reading before watching it again.

I actually found the most brutal scenes to be the aftermath of the range rover shooting. The disfigured corpses... urgh..... The way the eyeball/ eye socket was all fscked, the way the skin was all missing from around the mouth... very fvcked up shyte. I wish it were possible that humans couldn't do that to other humans, but alas, we live in the 'real world'...

reply

The smashing up of the escort.

Cop: You're going to burn for this, Angel.

Ha. At first I thought you meant one of the prostitutes and I thought, "when did that happen?" Then I remembered.

But yeah, a damn classic car.

And I'd say the "3 day montage" and the pizza guy scenes (generally what other people are saying as well).

The guy that Jimmy G is based on is a guy called Kevin Whitaker he upset Tony and Pat so he thought the only excuse was too shoot Pat which he did. There are numerous books on the Rettendon Murders the main ones are by an author called Bernard O'Mahoney if you read his book he doesn't paint Carlton Leach in a very good light and neither does Carlton in his book Muscle but this story is mentioned in both and in the film is has been adapted a little bit to make it more appealign the book mention Tony torturing Whitaker numerous times and he also used to do it to Craig aswell. I don't like the Turkish Herion whole story arc it's gruesome in my opinion I have seen this film probably a 1000 times and it never ever gets boring.

reply

No, Jimmy G is not based on Kevin Whittaker, he is based on Steve Nipper Ellis. The character that Craig kills (in some accounts tucker was involved, others he was not) earlier called Chris is based on Whittaker, where he drugs him and dumps the body.

Best regards,

Julian Gilbey

1 of the scenes between the rave part and the turkish part. it's where carlton is torturing some guy because he stole some mandy. then you see the old bill walk in the room when carlton is gone and the guy is lying there naked, spread eagled and nailed 2 the floor....including his d*ck.

reply

What movie are you talkling about?

In the uncut version that I watched, his dick was lying across his left side with no blood on it, or anywhere around it. There are no nails visible at all in his dick, whereas conversely, the nails in his arms and snihs are clearly visible in the self same shot.

I'm not saying you're a liar, though. If you check the bitter moon forums, you'll see there are some people who swear that there's a version where she (Emanuelle) pee's on a tv screen. The vast majority tell them that they are confusing this with the fact of the narrator describing a golden shower to Hugh Grant. The others, however, remain adamant, saying that they have a video version that shows (nothing explicit, but) a shot from behind of her peeing on a tv for a brief moment.

So, I'm curious if perhaps you saw a different movie, and are confusing it with this one, or if it's definately this one, but perhaps a different version to the one I saw. Or perhaps even if it is the same version, that maybe you mistook what you thought you saw, and that there was no nail in his pee-pee after all.

Would be interested to find out if there is a version which has a nailed-pee-pee, and if so, what exactly is his pee-pee nailed to?

What about the scene when he sodomizes the guy with a knife?

Till that day - Joe Sarno

reply

I didn't get that part.. what is 'noncing' on the toilet? 'Nonce' is slang for pedophile, but I doubt there would be any kids hanging around nightclub bathrooms.

Furthermore, could a bouncer get away with stabbing people, let alone in this way (the guy would be debilitated for life)? Seems a little unrealistic.

You're right, but the term 'noncing' refers to any sexual act seen as taboo. Carlton probably caught him knocking one out (masturbating) in the ladies toilets, oh and he didn't sodomize him with the knife, he just stabbed him in the buttocks, the poor bastard wouldn't be able to sit down for a couple of months.

reply

I see, thanks for explaining. The part about the stabbing, I assume that was in the book? I'm glad the former didn't happen, too painful just thinking about it. Ouch.

Actually this did happen to everton fans travelling to london on the train in the 80s so get your facts right!
