it was pretty *beep* up but that was the point...this happens all the time and it's sad but more often then not they get away...I think sugar coating it would make it unrealistic and also if someone wants to do something like that then why would watching that influence them?

Let's hope everyone who sees it is equally disgusted. The point was to for sure upset the audience

The worst rape scene ever to be filmed in the LITERALLY 10 minute long rape scene from the french film Irreversible (from insertion to pull out is clocked at 10 minutes). That film will test your humanity as this film did as well.

The girl obviously wanted it to be as painLESS as possible. She was struggling with all her might to get them to stop. Minutes in when they didn't she asked for a hit so that she in her mind could be elsewhere since fighting a group of young men wasn't going to help.

She was happy? She was in fetal position crying.

I stumbled over that scene in a stream and just came here to check out what that sick *beep* was about and now I am honnest to god angry.

She came in saying she would bang the one guy she came with. Maybe at the most she was willing to show off for his friends. Then they raped her while she was fighting back. The guy she came with choked her and then she was raped again. And then she was pissed on. And after all was over he threw her some crack like that made up for everything which made it even worse. She wanted a hit to get away from it, like somebody with chancer asks for morphine to dull the pain. That does not mean he wanted chancer to get high just like she did not want to be violently raped.

She did not look happy. If you think there was anything happy about that, you need help.

And, although this sentence will diminish the simple logic and clear sense I just expressed, if we ever happened to be on a jury about such a case together and we went to the chambers to talk about it and you spewed something like that they would trial my case of manslaughter next. I am not violent by nature but such disregard for the rights of a woman to say "no" and such lack of compassion makes my blood boil. I am literally shaking right now.

About 2 years ago I saw a movie about the My Lai massacre and thinking about the sad state humanity is in, I decided for the signature I am using right now. I decided back then that I would put in something less depressing if I managed to get through 4 weeks of my live without seeing something that justified wiping out humanity. It's still there and after reading what you wrote, it will at least stay till the end of december. But honestly, if medicne evolves and I life to see a thousand years, I doubt that I will ever have to change it.

I think humanity should be wiped out and then we can give evolution a second chance.

its to the point where I must hear the play-by-play of the encounter before I believe its rape. I know you arigoldsteen were given more steam finding out this Hofstra Rape incident was false. But that situation and the Duke Lacrosse matter is completely different than the scene in Life Is Hot In Cracktown. Its like saying Jodi Foster was asking for it in The Accused.

I'm really trying to understand you mr. arigoldsteen because truthfully our frustrations on this matter of false claims of rape are more aligned than you think.

In regards to the film.. I do feel that they showed that the girl was lured into being raped. Although her lifestyle made it somewhat familiar I assume the character wants to always be the one making the descision.

Agreed. The rape scene in "Irreversible" was the most painful, horrific, repulsive, horrible thing that I have ever seen in a film. I actually became physically ill when I watched it and I will never watch that film again. It made the rape in this film look almost tame. Almost.

c hart- I have to disagree with you. And this may be strange... I've seen Irreversible I saw the infamous scene and as young woman i could take it. However when I saw this opening I was *beep* traumatized and I still am. You won't catch me watching this movie again. I think this one was the most disgusting of all!

I was upset and disturbed by the rape scene in this film. No doubt about it. I cried and felt such anger at those damn punks. However, the rape scene in Irreversible is sooooo long and brutal! That man raped that beautiful, pregnant woman for at least 10 minutes- ANAL, I may add. He nearly beat her to death! He was like a demon and that scene was so upsetting that I was SICK. I watched that almost five years ago and I still cannot get it out of my head.

Regardless, I do not ever enjoy a rape scene. I am a woman and rape is probably one of my greatest fears. The only time that I can tolerate a rape scene in a film is when the woman survives and seeks REAL JUSTICE. "I Spit On Your Grave" comes to mind. Men that rape deserve the very worst torture, humiliation and suffering...nothing less.

FYI, yes she was pregnant before the rape. The film was show in reverse. The "ending" was actually "the beginning." In other words, those final moments when she takes the pregnancy test take place PRIOR to her night on the town and her assault.

I watched both "Cracktown" and "Irreversible" this weekend. As far as rape scenes go, they are both wimpy in comparison to the horrible rape of the housekeeper in Death Wish 2. Then they follow up that gang rape with the disturbing rape of the daughter just a few minutes later. I have never seen scenes as violent as this. If you don't agree, look it up -- you can watch it on IMDB. Very much bad.

Firstly... There was no direct revenge because, she never told nobody, she cried for abit and then got high... I too was watching like any scene now her brother is gonna come blazing, two guns out like WTF!... But it didn't happen, why?... because the story shows the main guy leave her with the rocks, enough for her to get high for minute (a while), when your in that way of life, those little rocks make everything better, she never told a soul about it, and just moved on , the sad thing is this happens in real life, in every ghetto where u will find dealers and addicts like those.

It was a very graphic scene, but what killed it for me was the sceond dude, his facial expressions, his smile, the licking of his lips, the noises he made, he didn't even let her hit the pipe before going through... some cold hearted shhhhh....

ps... the pissing was un-called for... but it wasn't my script ;)

And just to clear things up, she was blantantly lured into being raped, she was quite happy to sleep with the main dude, that has more than likely happened many times before as they knew each other and the story indicated they had history,... but she was not (and here is the importanted word) 'WILLING' to sleep with all of them, or even two of them, for the crack rocks, thats when it became rape, thats when they forced themselves upon her, u don't have to be a genius to see that, they raped her in a cold blooded fashion and left her the rocks like, hush lil mama, ...shhh, hold tight, tis will make it better, a sweetner for her. Damn! (like they even cared, they just didn't want her reporting their ass, )

oh another thing, that scene was at the start of the moving for a reason!... too...

1. get your attention, (ok, it got ya attention)

2. to let you know from get go.... this is the story It's about to tell, a graphic one, a trueful one, nothing prettied up -as raw as it is, is as raw as I'ma tell it!

something exactly like this happened not long after the release of this movie in Richmond CA. Where a 15 yr old girl was lured by a "friend" then gang raped while others watched. Curious if they saw this film.

I'm glad it got talked about, it was disturbing to me as well, when they just undressed her and went at it. And when the other guy came from the back as she was crying and begging, I went numb. And peeing on her was REALLY uncalled for, raped and then scorned? And to throw her some crack like it would make it all better just burned me. I wanted to see her brothers avenge her attack at some point, but it never happened, but at least Romeo got what was coming to him in the end.

It might be safe to say that not only he but (at the very least) Brazil as well (having his head cut off and then stuffed inside his girlfriend... that's hardcore). If they were willing to go to that length of overkill, I wouldn't doubt they hunted down the remainder of Romeo's pals and got rid of them in similar fashions.

Yeah, I guess I just had a stronger sense of anger towards Romeo because he led her to these creeps in the first place, and showed no feeling whatsoever while it was going on and offering her up to his friends like it was his to give, the terror on his face in the end was great.
