Date error could have been solved in two mins flat!!

Sorry but when I watched this I couldnt believe how stupid these girls are.
Marion states "sorry theres a mix up" and just tells them to chose who gets what date. No, they both pay £50K for these weddings each so if it was me, I would have both agreed to cancel their weddings with Marion so she would lose basically £100,000 pounds
I would then tell Marion if you dont change the dates correctly to what we wanted, we will take our weddings elsewhere. Then all Marion would have had to do was tell the third bride the problem and make her pick the other date.
If the other bride declined, then tell her "sorry I have two clients that need that date and they were here first."

Then Marion is still up £100, 000 and would only lose one contract instead of two. No business woman would willingly lose two contracts in replace of obtaining one - she would lose £100,000.

One is a lawyer and one is a school teacher???
Where did these people study, the college for Thicko's???

Actually, the wedding planners Errors and Omissions Insurance could have taken care of the problem. Why the lawyer didn't immediately say they would sue is beyond me. Yeah, I know then there'd be no movie. So they shouldn't have made her a lawyer.

it would have made more sense for the other bride to change her date than have the two best friends marry on the same day!!

Plus marion didn't even phone the bride and ask her, it may have made no difference to her

reply

Agreed. The venue made the mistake and could have easily corrected it by bumping the other bride to the earlier date.

reply

Totally agree

reply

They didn't threaten her because the largest part of their wedding dream was for her to do it at the place they wanted. She was a part of that life long dream. I do agree that the planner should have just called the other girl and explained. She would have to change her date. Why upset two clients that picked their dates first?

reply

Yeah basically there was no reason that the place couldn't have just told the other bride "you got this date." I mean when she went in to speak to Marion there was ONLY that date left SOOOOOO again how is there a mix up?

reply

Actually, had Liv just read her contract (like the good lawyer she supposedly was), and suggested that Emma do the same, it never would have happened in the first place.
