I think I just lost all respect for Anne Hathaway.

I just sat down and watched this movie, and this is complete garbage. Usually I find humor in movies like this but none of it was funny. I REALLY love Anne, but after this piece of crap, I can't see myself going out of my way to ever see anything she's in again.

I share your feelings mate
probably she was drunk when she accepted the project.

I only watched this because of her and found myself asking whyyyyyyy????? with all of her talent and she chose to be in this? I would love to know her reasoning.

I just hope she got paid bucketloads to put her name to this.

Kate Hudson can only seem to play different versions of the same character so didn't expect anything more of her.

reply

Are you joking?? This classless attention seeker has proudly done several nude/sex scenes and generally comes off as a poser who wants to seem hip and cool in the Hollywood crowd, and you "lost respect" just because she was in some boring movie?

SERIOUSLY?

I love Jesus AND Jesus-hating atheists and am 100% proud!

I think judging an actors entire filmography on one bad film is incredibly ridiculous at best.

Meryl Streep - Mamma Mia
Robert De Niro - Rocky and Bullwinkle
Marlon Brando - Island of Dr. Moreau
Julianne Moore - Nine Months
Saoirse Ronan - The Host
Everyone has a wrinkle on their resume...

When you're 17 a cow can seem dangerous and forbidden...am I alone here?

In any career, especially contract type work (you have to look at it as a job), people sometimes have to take what's available even if it's not the most glamorous project. Many actors know they have to keep their name out there any way they can and not just rest on one successful role. You're only as good as your last gig. So many people who think they're so great that they can only wait on the best projects are fooling themselves. I have more admiration for actors who actually like to work rather than those who get caught up in being a celebrity. There is a huge difference between being an actor and being a celebrity and the same goes for other areas of entertainment.

Nine Months was cute and Moore played herself, again.

On the contrary, I think Anne saved this movie as Kate Hudson has the range of a twelve inch ruler.

I haven't watched this yet, but it's hard to imagine it being worse than Havoc. Anne's film selection is extremely hit or miss for me.

reply

I really love this.
Kate to Anne:"Oh, your wedding better watch it.Your wedding is in some serious trouble".
Anne to Kate:"Your wedding WILL be huge all right..like your ASS at the PROM"!

(Later Kate's hair turns blue.)

Not quite the right words but close enough

Yeah, I'm surprised Anne would agree to be the lead the play an embarrassing rom-com.
