I cannot believe that The Hills Have Eyes (2006) which was extremely scary, more from a psychological sense, like Jacob's Ladder and had the scariest scene I have ever seen in my life (The rearview mirror scene in the car at the gas station) in it was not on there. I've pretty much seen all of those movies, most were good, some were garbage but few of them are scary!

Ive seen 4 and that's because I scare easily:
1. Hostel(through my fingers)
16. Saw II
18. Army of Darkness
24. The Hand That Rocks the Cradle

I don't care if you call me crazy...because the voices in my head tell me I'm just fine

Red Eye, Fear, The Exorcism of Emily Rose? Those movies aren't scary at all.

I've seen:

26. Play Misty for Me
24. The Hand that Rocks the Cradle
22. American Psycho
21. Dead Alive

19. Fear
18. Army of Darkness
17. Christine
14. Scanners
13. Dawn of the Dead (remake)
11. The Stepford Wives (old one)
10. Children of the Corn

09. Open Water
07. The Devil's Rejects
04. Videodrome
01. Hostel

15 and a half of them (Stanley Kubrick's Clockwork Orange was too long to finish but I watched at least half of it).

As for the list... anyone remember the first Bravo special's 100? I know they forgot Arachnophobia and that was ridiculous- that movie scared the living snot out of every person who saw it in the theater and gave people who watched it on VHS (and probably DVD) traumas! I never saw it in the theater and even that first VHS viewing scared the piss out of me. And I've never been afraid of spiders- I'm always the person my mother and brother used to call in the room to kill a spider!! That's how effective it was.

And then- neither list mentioned Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer. What the hell? Then, the Dawn of the Dead remake stinks and they didn't even mention a really scary moment from it. That dead (zombie) baby... Been done before! A lot of times. Dead Alive was one time, Haekel's Tale was another. A lot of people agree zombie babies are stupid anyway.

Bravo needs to SERIOUSLY stop listing remakes and rip-offs. No more crap like Dawn of the Dead '04 and Exorcism of Emily Rose!

I agree that Arachnophobia is a classic, but DOTD'04 is awesome! The zombie baby in Dead Alive isn't played for scares, it's for laughs. A Clockwork Orange is a masterpiece as well.

I've seen:

30. The Grudge
29. Cape Fear (remake)
28. Cabin Fever
25. Red Eye
24. The Hand that Rocks the Cradle
22. American Psycho
20. 2001: A Space Oddysey
19. Fear
18. Army of Darkness
17. Christine
16. Saw II
15. The Exorcism of Emily Rose
13. Dawn of the Dead (remake)
12. Wolf Creek
10. Children of the Corn
09. Open Water
08. Land of the Dead
07. The Devil's Rejects
06. Vertigo
04. Videodrome
03. Saw
02. A Clockwork Orange
01. Hostel

Hmm, 23. Although for many of these, they aren't the scariest movies ever. But that's okay, because any sort of countdown like this is going to have some kind of bias. I just love these sort of things because it gives me movies to keep an eye out for to watch.

24 baby!!! And most of those moments weren't even scary, just kind of gross.

I've seen all of 'em...
I own all of 'em...

I've seen 23. Most of them were not scary. The list was poorly picked, for the most part. The scariest I have seen, are not even on there.
