have only seen Belgium movies with him and always wished to see him in movies speaking English. I have noticed he's starting to appear in more and more, but this seems to be a romance movie, so i am psyched. He is gorgeous.

Well, when I saw him in 'the Drop' I thought he was an utter lowlife creep ... ha ha. But he played it very convincingly.
Now in the trailer for Suite Francaise he looks like a Teutonic superman, the Ideal Aryan.
So let's put it down to simply being a great actor.
I am excited to see the so versatile Matthias in anything and glad for him that he's making such a great international career. I like the fact that I can see him in French, Flemish and English.
