Lol!!! I'm actually pretty excited to see the dub too!!!! (whenever it's made.....) And I think it's going to be longer than 26 eps. I'm not completely sure, but some of the main characters haven't even shown up yet (except for appearing in the credits, so they should be in the anime...) and I don't think they could fit them all in before the 26th episode. (seeing as how at least until episode 21 it'll still be on the Crowley arc....)

My guess is it'll be 52 episodes. It could go for 75 or so, but I really think it'll run for 52 episodes...

I could really see DGM being on adult swim. i think if more folks knew about it, it could become really popular... the only thing that ever bothered me about the show at first glance was lenalee, when I saw her in the intro I was like "oh jeez, not another run-of-the-mill anime schoolgirl with in a miniskirt and pigtails"

Yeah, but I still have NO idea why it's on so early, lol....and they have cut back on some of the violence. The last few episodes sort of made up for the lack of blood in the Rewind Town arc. (they REALLY cut some stuff out of that....)
Even so, it's definately mature enough to be shown on AS. (even if you just look at the subject matter, it's mature enough....)

Does AS really listen to the viewers though? Perhaps it's just better to see if you can check it out through your local library. If they don't have it, then join Netflix 'cause you can request it from that site (I've done both, prefer the latter because I can keep the DVD for longer).

IF adult swim is smart, they will option the show (I think FUNimation has licensed it). But AS has so much time tied up with their "original" shows, something would have to go to make room.
