So, which do you think works better, long hair or short hair?
Personally, I'm torn. I think the pigtails sorta made her look too generic. The short hair makes her a very unique and recognizable character. I do miss the longer locks though.

Hey now, don't turn this into guy-love... we're talking about lenalee here. I don't really think Kanda would look good with shorter hair, though, if anyone cares to know.
I'm still torn about Lenalee, the longer hair (and at the time, the art style) made her seem like a more formidable fighter, someone you could take a bit more seriously. The shorter hair makes her probably the only character I think works well in the mangaka's newer style of drawing they started using, but she's a bit too cute, too defenseless. I suppose that sorta works at the time given her current situation, but what about later?

LOL! It's funny how you see nothing when she puts on her clothes but she's always got SOMETHING covering her boobs, looks sorta like a boob tube to me. I think she just looks like she needs to be protected because *spoiler* she's kinda lost the power to use her innocence atm, but once she gets it back, I bet she'll be as kickass as ever!

I don't like Lenalee, I find her uncreative as the girl character, and wish she was less generic and girly, and would stop wearing a crotch-length skirt.
Hmm... I like her hair both ways, but maybe the shorter a bit more because it takes away her anime-girliness.
