Truely Disappointed

It's people like these that produced this film that have given independent filmmakers a bad name. Months after they left Asheville, I have continually received mail and phone calls, asking, begging, and threatening with lawsuits for the money for their services rendered. Even the police department wasn't paid.

They all left town paid... but left "the below the line" high and dry. All I can recommend to the crew next time is get your money up front.

Yes, I agree. I am one of the featured extras/stand-ins from this film and got paid much, MUCH less than was agreed upon. It was a great experience to be on set, but it made me lose a lot of respect for the people who organized payment.

(I had no idea so many others got royally stiffed!) :-\

I haven't been paid either, I worked on this shoot. an absolute horrible experience. The cast was fine, the crew worked really well. But the production team was pathetic. Makes me not want to work in movies anymore. TV commercials are a lot better. At least they pay.

[email protected] was the email address for producer Nicole, who I talked to about getting fully paid (which I eventually did) as well as on the behalf of others who didn't get paid.

If this was a SAG movie, you could file a complaint with the Screen Actor's Guild. If anyone has a written agreement with a copy, use it for evidence, although with how it sounds, it looks like the filmmakers will be hearing from a lawyer soon, lol

Please forward me any information that would assist me in collecting outstanding charges owed to me for the production crew lodging bill. Presently, they owe me a significant amount of money and I have a signed contract indicating they would pay. I have left a message for Michael Mailer and mulitple messages with other members of the production crew and have received no call back or resoluttion!

We have worked with a number of production companies and we have never been treated in this manner! As you can appreciate, I want to be paid for services they used!

If it was a SAG film, I would suggest calling the SAG office in your state, They could advice you on who to talk to. www.sag.com
