Reading the plot made me think of those two films as well..but I'm sure it will have a different spin. I hope!
i heard this film was cancelled and won't be coming out...does anyone else know? they filmed it where i live so i was really excited...
sharewow--I sure hope it isn't cancelled! Otherwise, it's going to feel like a total waste to any of the locals who were involved (not to mention all of the execs, etc., etc.)! :-\

it is not cancelled, i spoke to the writer/director and some of the small time actors this weekend (we all went to summer camp together)
