What would you have done differently?

If you wrote/directed this movie, what would you have done differently? I think my biggest difference would be to have other firmly established characters in this dystopian world. I don't really like when movies have a lot of characters that show up for one scene and then disappear.

Well that's because that's how it is done in the book and in the book, its done that way as a statement that almost says its the man and the boy and everyone else. If they aren't the man and the boy, they are just other random people (which in the book exemplified the trust and isolation issues the man had). I'd keep that in. But I would want the movie to explore the boy's transition more like it was in the book. In the book, he was practically being trained by the man to fend for himself and transition from a boy to a man
