This show is so creative and cute, and it's obvious they got Sam and Todd back together so quickly due to the cancellation which just makes it more sad.
This show has so much more life in it :/

I'm not so sure... It would have been a perfect ending, we know who tried to kill Sam, everybody is happy except the parents, what leave a cliffhanger... If this was supposed to be the serie finale, there wouldn't have put suspens...

it was shot long before cancellation and there were no reshoots it was always intended to be the season not series finale

After watching the finale, I really feel it could have benefited from a 3rd season. At least to wrap up Regina and Howard's story. Maybe let Sam and Todd get married, now that they're finally engaged and to find out what happens with Dena/Chase and Andrea/Seth.

Actually now that I think about it, I don't mind this show getting canceled, what I will miss however is how wonderful Christina was on the show. She really has gathered some great comedic timing, and I really look forward to seeing what she does next. She really could be the next Carol Burnette.

Didn't you feel differently two days ago? What made you change your mind?
Personally, I would have enjoyed another season, I don't know if it could have continued beyond 3 seasons.
I kind of feel the same way about this show as I did about Arrested Development. I loved it and will miss it, but feel like it ended on a good note.
What changed in my mind was that after really thinking about the show, meditating on it through the day, I realized the only thing I really loved about it was Christine. Todd was a boring character, so were both friends, and parents. The only thing the show had going for it was Christina.
She deserves a better show.

I agree that Christina was really good. But I thoroughly enjoyed her interaction with the other characters. Andrea AND Todd were a connection to her old life, Andrea inhabited "old Samantha" and Todd was trying to figure out if he really ever loved either of them. Deena was almost a connection to the new life she wanted, "new Samantha". I liked her parents because they were kooky and crazy and couldn't wrap their heads around the amnesia. I think the whole cast was rounded out beautifully. I would say the only one who did't really fit was Frank, despite the writers best efforts to make him a part of the show.
Oh so it did get cancelled! I'm not surprised because it really was going downhill since season 2.
