jack neo not bored arh? he is not but i am!!
im tired of all this shoot govt type of movies... im not saying our govt is flawless... but im kinda sick of ppl living in peace n still complaining... im not saying we shouldnt "ask for more", but "ask for more" or complain when it is the right time la, not like all the time la...

first, "education" movie, now a "political" one?
is there no directors in singapore, to produce a made in singapore movie, that features a not-so-typical singapore?
i want a 100 years ago type of story *since it wont b tt typical-modern-singaporean*, of singapore or any country la, with a meaningful story line...made n produced in singapore, by a singaporean director
is that so hard?
singapore have got a small market, but film makers can impress big bosses to invest in them wad...

my point is: i want a more quality film/movie than this...

Well, first of all, Jack Neo isn't really criticizing the government in the first place, he is merely poking fun at the way things work in the high level government sectors and so on ... it is basically the way he dares to convert serious issues into a series of light-hearted and entertaining pieces like I Not Stupid and Just Follow Law that makes them so uniquely S'porean, things we could all relate to because we lived here and had seen it all ... whether you think his works are just meaningless concepts or things that really strike a chord in you, they are out to earn a good laugh (or two) outta you ... why take it so seriously, even Neo himself isn't ... its all in the good name of humor and U can either find it funny or not, directors in Sg have a hard time keeping the local industry afloat because there had been a major lack in factors such as money, resources, talents... in comparison to what international films had, we had neither weepie romances (Korean), exciting undercover cum. gunfire stories (HK), Ringu like horrors (Japan) or major exotic filming locations ... what is a film director to do ...
