I don’t know how ANYONE finds this air- head ,bimbo charming, at all !! She sets womanhood back 50 years !
There was no attempt to have her improve herself , except for becoming a pharmacy sales rep she “won” not for her acumen , but rather , as a friend of the very mean -spirited Bernadette. Penny tried Community College, what happened with that ? How Leonard continued to embrace her , is ridiculous . He deserved an equally intelligent mate. Penny is woefully not it. And , what happened to her mantra , “ I don’t want any kids”, over and over, causing Leonard much distress over the years?
SPOILERS FOR THE LAST EPISODE

To service fans , she’s pregnant
for the very last episode. I ALWAYS HATED HER AND BERNADETTE!
Amy is the ONLY female worth a lick.

I don't see the problem. There are in fact women much better than Penny, women just like Penny, and women far worse than Penny.

Why does this character need to advance womanhood? Can't she just be who she is, or do we need to eliminate every bumbling idiotic emasculated man from episodic comedies??

I think Murphy Brown reruns are available on Netflix..

She's okay, just spoiled by guys doing everything for her because she's attractive.

There is a reason she hangs with the nerds. She is at best a good average in terms of looks, that impresses the nerds well enough. Around the cool crowd though she would be competing against some real babes.

She's way.above average in looks. I find it impossible to forgive Amy for experimenting on monkeys.

She has a pretty face but an odd kind of body. It's a shame Leonard is a short ass though as she didn't get to wear heels as much as she should have.

I don't think they could play the experimenting on monkey's for laughs now Twitter would be ablaze with outrage.

Not as far as I recall. It was just played as being funny, the chimps smoked cigarettes if I remember correctly. And were rather addicted. You could always see it as a satirical political statement/protest if it upsets you.
