2nd pregnancy

Hope Raj doesn't go out of his way to be over-involved and ruin this one for them as well. Wonder when #2 will appear.

I like Ruchi so far, hopefully she'll stick around.

Ruchi is pretty good looking and seems cool. Glad they brought back Bert, he's really funny. Great use of the Almost Paradise song.

Well.. the second baby was born. She made her debut on the Thanksgiving episode. Did I miss her name? What did they call her?

The flashbacks of Bernie trying to get her to sleep were mildly amusing. But WHERE is the other kid? It seems like they totally forgot her. They didn't bring her with them when they brought the baby.

Just reinforces my opinion that Big Bang Theory as a domestic comedy totally SUCKS!

The Thanksgiving episode was a repeat from Season 10 (Episode 12 to be exact)

Thanks! I was so confused. I thought "Where was Haley?" I still don't think Howard as a daddy is as funny as Howard as a "ladies man".

I also just don't buy Sheldon as living with a woman. That whole storyline seems so phony to me.

My pleasure. I agree that Howard as a Daddy is not as funny as Howard as a "ladies man".

I think I might see what you mean about Sheldon. It would be an abrupt change for him to go from sleeping in a room that was all his to a sharing a bed with someone. I explain it to myself as Sheldon is such a creature of habit that once he changed a habit (sleeping in his own bead to sleeping in a bed with Amy) the new habit became just as entrenched in him as the old one.

Good thing that you came up with an explanation for Sheldon's behavior. I never could. LOL I just attribute it to the fact that the writers "wimped out". They created a unique and interesting character, yet they decided to change him.

The other three guys were very interested in women but socially inept. Sheldon stood out as someone, although socially clueless, had no desire for a romantic partner. In 'The Psychic Vortex', he agreed to be Raj's "wingman" so Raj could find a woman at the university mixer. But Sheldon had no desire to meet a woman himself.

Later on when Martha showed interest in him, he didn't even notice. He said that it was late and it was time for bed. She gave a very eager, "Okay" and he went off to bed leaving her in the living room!

Sheldon seemed to be clearly asexual. He just had no interest in women, couple that with his germ phobia and how he didn't even like to shake hands, well, I just don't believe he'd be comfortable in a physical relationship.

Early on Penny asked, "What is his deal?"
The guys said they were under the impression that Sheldon "had no deal." I don't think they were wrong. Sheldon was supposed to be in his late twenties and apparently never had a date. He was hardly shy or had self esteem problems. He just had NO interest in dating.

I guess it's considered weird, but Sheldon was happy with himself the way he was. In the episode when Howard and Bernie got married, each friend expressed their best wishes.
Sheldon said something about not understanding why people want to find a partner. "Maybe that's because I am so interesting by myself." Then he told the couple that he hoped they'd be as happy with each other as he was with himself.

I just found Sheldon so unique and much funnier as someone who was so self involved. He loved his own genius and his work in physics. I don't think he's nearly as funny or believable as a boyfriend. Just the writers watering down an interesting character...
