Missing Parents, Dead or Alive? (And Who Played Them?)

I am trying to remember if we have seen the parents of each main character. We know who Howard's mother was (though we never saw her), and we know she's passed on. But have we not seen his dad because he left, or because he died?

Leonard - Christine Baranski and Judd Hirsch (both alive)
Penny - Katey Sagal (again) and Keith Carradine (both alive)
Howard - Carol Ann Suzi (dead)
Bernadette - Meagan Fay and Casey Sander (both alive)
Sheldon - Laurie Metcalf (alive)
Raj - Alice Amter and Brian George (both alive)
Amy - Annie O'Donnell (alive)

So we've never seen Howard's dad, Sheldon's dad and Amy's dad.
Anyone know why?

Well I'm pretty sure Sheldon's dad passed away. Remember very early on in the series when Mary Cooper went to get Sheldon's job back for him after he insulted the head of the department?

The department head flirted with her and she said " Oh that's sweet. His father's dead." Pretty straightforward. lol

Howard's dad supposedly left them a long time ago. I can't recall specifically, but I think he may have passed away. The show seemed vague about it as if they were keeping their options open, i.e. Howard's dad shows up some day. Surprise!

I assumed Amy's dad passed away too, don't recall anything specific.

Amy - Annie O'Donnell (alive)

I must've missed the episode with Amy's mother. I don't remember her.

Amy's mom was only seen on a video chat. Amy had Sheldon pretend to be having sex with her because Amy's mom wanted her to find a boyfriend. I think it was just that one episode.

I think it's funny that Sheldon's Dad in the upcoming "young Sheldon" show is being played by the same guy who played Leonard's high school bully.
