Bernie want to be in control of his life.
Can anyone give examples of Bernie trying to control Howard's life except in cases in which she has a very legitimate interest? It is certainly a legitimate interest to not want her husband to die doing something that is optional, but she backs off it when she understands how strongly Howard feels about
it.It is certainly a legitimate interest to not want to have her life change completely because
her husband wants children, and she agrees to have children if Howard will take care of them. Very reasonable, but it won't come to that because they will get a nanny.Bernadette has a completely legitimate interest in the families finances. It's not that he can't spend money on collectibles, but she wants some control over how much money he is spending because he doesn't seem to have anything like common sense. She certainly wants his spending $2500 on what is a glorified toy to be run by her and justified to her.She is a completely legitimate interest in her home, how it is decorated, and what is there. I believe most wives feel that way very strongly. But she was willing to compromise and redo one room at a time and see how it
goes. So, just how is Bernie trying to control Howard's life in a way that would that not be true for just about any wife? Can anyone give examples of Bernie being controlling just to show that she can control Howard? The classic example of a wife trying to control her husband's life is insisting that he leave a job that he really likes and get a better paying job that he probably wouldn't like. There is nothing of that.
