Anyone else want to see more "Sheonard?"

Now, I'm not talking about a romantic relationship. I'm talking about seeing them respecting each other in conversation or working together to a common goal without arguing.

99% of the time, the formula goes something like this:

1. Sheldon makes an issue out of something trivial, and Leonard jokes about killing him in his sleep (or something to that effect).

2. Leonard has an issue, and Sheldon trivializes it from his own narrow viewpoint.

I'm not saying they should ALWAYS take the same side, but it's nice to see it from time to time.

Examples:
The Holographic Excitation: L&S testing Howard to see if every topic leads back to his time on the space station.

The Launch Acceleration: L&S discussing girlfriend problems over a game of tri-dimensional chess.

Leonard is now a married man...it can NEVER be like it was. The time he used to spend humoring Sheldon he has to spend making breakfast brioche for Penny.

Not for nothing did someone write this song:

"Wedding Bells are Breaking Up That Old Gang of Mine"

“Enduring commercials is the price you pay for free television.”

Sheldon is Leonard's Foil, they are never going to have a perfectly cordial relationship and the writers smoothing over their conflicts would not serve to benefit the humor.

They don't need to eliminate the conflict, but an occasional storyline where they are on the same page has worked in the past, and could do again. They don't have to be at war over everything, all the time...

NO. Because all of this slobbering on and on about their feelings IS NOT FUNNY and it's supposed to be a comedy. I like Sheldon playing off Penny and her playing off him occasionally, but not as a steady diet. The scavenger hunt was one time it worked well and was funny. This past ep wasn't very funny. And the way Leonard was removed from the picture to give Penny therapy time with Sheldon was part of it.

I like the episodes where Leonard and Sheldon are getting along too. I think "The Troll Manifestation" was the last good example of this.
