No longer friends?

So Penny finally goes to a comic convention, and the guys don't show up? She is one of the attractions and not one of their friends could bother to show up? I would be upset if I were her... just seems bad form to me

I agree that it is a bit odd that the gang wouldn't be there. Regardless of how lame it is, it's still a convention and you'd think they would all go to support her.

I'm fine with the characters having separate plot lines, but it's becoming more and more frequent. This episode the couples were all separated and had no interaction with each other at all. A bit weird.

She didn't even want to go to the convention. It took a lot of prodding from Leonard for her to go. I can't imagine her being too upset if the others skipped it.

Hey Chicago, whaddya say? The Cubs are gonna win today! 🐻

It makes no sense. These multiple shows where the all split up, this isn't what made the show great. Once in a while? Okay. But it's getting old fast.

It's almost as if they are testing them for spinoff possibilities.

Maybe I missed it; but, I don't remember them mentioning it to anyone!?

Also, how often do you (I mean the universal 'you') invite someone to something you, yourself, don't want to go to; AND, add-to-that-the-fact that it's something you'd rather not be know/remember for?

Ever notice the lack of family members and friends at the Razzies??????...there IS a reason for that! 

Geez!

I hope you are a troll; because if you are not, I have a serious Mark Twain quote for you.

It would have been a great opportunity to have the whole group back together again, in one place. I miss all of their interactions. The group has gone to conventions all over the place - and they didn't think to go to this one - even without being asked?

I think the writers missed a great chance to get the group back, rather than these separated A and B stories lately.

That's what we need - ridiculous odds, and just a speck of hope that someday, we'll beat it

This was not a big convention. I think Leonard made fun of it enough at the beginning when she got the invitation that we should know it's not a major con.

If I were them I wouldn't want to go either just to sit around and watch Penny sign autographs when they didn't even think her movie was any good. They've been to so many cons and has bad experiences at some of them as well. I think they were done with them a long time ago. In the Bakersfield Expedition, Leonard even admitted that dressing up for the con made them the crazy people,Howard said he was done and Sheldon said he was starting to feel like the idiot other people looking at him thought he was.

And as long as Leonard went to bask second hand in her boob flashing glory, I think it was okay. I just can't imagine anyone else being interested in the slightest. I'd like to see them all together, but not at something that was as stupid as this. There was no potential for them to do anything together with Penny stuck at a table she didn't want to be at anyway.

Considering she didn't even want to be there, I'd think she begged the friends not to come.

But I really don't like the friends being separate so much.
