Mrs. Petrescu - could she be the nanny for Howard and Bernie?

Many people seemed to enjoy Mrs. Petrescu in the latest episode. I really didn't, and don't think we need more new characters introduced (some were calling for her to be a recurring character).

Now, on her own, I think she'd be a poor recurring character. Unless she had a pertinent role to play. How about.....she becomes the nanny for Howard and Bernie's baby? Now THAT might play well. She does have a sort of "Howard's Mother" vibe about her. She's way different, but I think in that role, she could really flourish. I can see Howard pulling his hair out that another strong woman was involved in his life (if they wrote her that way). It would be funny to see him going nuts that a person with little English skills was teaching his son/daughter to speak.

It wouldn't be any major role, but she could be funny in a small role like this. Plus, if Howard and Bernie had a nanny, it would allow them to leave more and be a part of the group again.

I'm still thinking that the nanny is going to end up being Stewart.

I didn't like her because we have so many characters now they can't have decent storylines as it is. Why did we need a new one? There's lots of characters that Amy and Sheldon could have invited and if they had to use a neighbor, I'd like to have seen the "Yee-Haw" lady that Leonard got caught by in the hallway.

I guess she could though, but this reminds me an awful lot of all of that "Major is Howard's Dad" fantasizing.

If we haven't seen her in the many years since that appearance, she's not returning.

That would be nice to add a new recurring character. Also, she reminds me of Carrie Fisher. Would love to see her interact someday with Sheldon and Leonard's mothers.

Sounds like a plan, as long as they don't make it too cliche it could work.
