why do people h8 Lindsay Lohan?

Well I don't know about you folks but my dislike for her is nothing personal actually. I wont call it dislike either but rather indifferent and I am not into the type of movies she does. The last movie I even remotely recall was one with Dennis Quaid (did i get the name wrong??) something about twins trying to reunite parents. I am quite sure the name is probably somewhere in the last line just typed but anyway...

I recall an episode of celeb wrestling in Mtv (claymation not real) where they brought up some stint about her claiming another star who already had a girl friend (was it Hillary Duff??). Anyway it seems she just started going the same direction as Paris Hillton: Drugs, acohol, irresponsible, rebellious attitude (dont have such a problem with rebellion but like most teen starts very very clueless about what they are fighting for...) etc. I don't care much for Lohan but I absolutely hate Hillton. How and why is she famous? I don't know... talentless girl who is riding her family name business...

Anyway it seems she is pretty much headed down the same road... you did think people from broken homes would strive harder to achieve something a little more responsible than what they had in the past but it seems most just want to say I accept it and this is me... and then do pretty stupid things and we must accept it as a sign of individuality...

To say the truth I don't personally keep in touch with celebs personal life or anything or the other its just the movie if I ever encounter them in by mere happenstance I give them the benefit of the doubt and if they are good they are good. I will probably get chewed out or ridiculed for this but a good example is Tom Cruise: once a rising star, now a mentally unstable nutcase that is founding a new religion.. yet I still like his movies and would go to see them if they have a good enough synopsis. I don't really care what he does with his love life I am here for his movie and that is what I am paying for (or taking the trouble to sneak in without paying)

But i think it started with Paris (no doubt there were angst against other teen star far before her), she just had this attitude that most of the viewers eventually found less and less desirable and add that with the increasing negative attitude towards movie stars in general (rich, arrogant, irresponsible, drama queens and divas etc) its just that most rising stars were having some crisis or the other which was just related to their vanity and the rich life...

No, I don't hate Lohan but i don't care for her either, I know who killed me would be her second movie for me and it was getting highly predictable (amid the confusion). I just popped in to see if I was right at all and got sucked into this discussion which is more entertaining than the movie is turning out to be. I am not sure if many feel the way I do but then again I just don't watch regular tv anymore and that may have an effect on my judgment considering I am more unfamiliar than unwilling to watch Lohan movies...

As for the movie it just seems to follow the pattern of most teen stars... rising to stardom at an early age and then you hit the peak and stagnate there till you reach adult hood and then its a downhill ride of self deprecation. Despite many claims be several posts of her acting prowess i fail to see her talent in this movie... more likely I blame the whole script and the director for the large part but besides her attractiveness there seems to be very little of worth in this movie..

I do sound like an old man after I reviewed my post... but i guess it cant be helped thats my opinion of Lohan. I do wish her luck but in the meantime she is not someone who I would pay to watch...

PS: no offense to any fans of Lohan. I just want to clarify that this is my opinion and I don't mean to offend anyone who does like her work. I am simply uninformed and uninterested about this particular person.
