wow, not since my childhood...

Wow, it's been so long since i've seen a pinoy horror. Back in my elementery days, me, and my older sister used to rent filipino horror movies at a local pinoy shop off in a small outlet. Back then i was being exposed to lot's of horror movies. But the filipino one's have always been the ones i though weren't scary. They made me laugh actually, the effects were cheap, the way it was shot was just vinatge, but the story always kept true (though i never watched the middle 90s horror from said country). It was from 10yrs old we stoped that small trend, and went seperate ways... 5 years later. I find myself in the phillipines (practically in metro manila at the time). They were having the Manila film festival locations at one of the near SM malls. I was hoping to watch this one film (Shake Rattle and Roll 25k). But it released on the day i left the country to come back to the US. It was a while till my cousins recommended me a title "Feng Shui". THough could not get hold. INstead, i end up going to a remodeled Filipino Store, and they have a new movie section up. They were selling one horror title "SIGAW" and it looked interesting. But i declined to buy it. Though after a while now (and then finding out that there remaking this movie in the states). Maybe i should go back and buy it before the film releases...

sorry for this topic, i just suddenly got memories of Pinoy Horror after seeing so many horror films come up from my home country
