I didn't understand her at all. She was all over the place. One minute she tells her friend she feels bad because Bobby went to jail partially because of her, and the next she's ripping Bobby apart for 'leaving everyone behind'. What?!
Then, she's hearing & seeing things yet she never mentions it to him until much later?! And why was she being haunted at all?!

"Didn't he discover America?"
"Penfold, shush."
Yeah, I was wondering why the 'ghosts' blamed her when she had nothing to do with it.
shareThe second time she came visit Bobby (carrying a plant), she saw the woman calling for help at his door. She clearly had bruises. Instead of helping her, or even asking if she needed anything, she just hided behind the corner. I think that's the moment she got involved because she saw the problem, but decided to do nothing about it.
Afterwards, it seems that she didn't say anything because she thought the woman had something to do with Bobby (an affair?). If that was the case, Alyssa wasn't avoiding helping a woman in danger, but trying not to get in the middle of Bobby's business, making her "innocent" and unrelated to the main haunting event. However, the woman was clearly asking for help pounding at Bobby's door and with her face bruised.
To put it short. Bad script, worse story, and a lot of nonsense.
Yeah, love how the girlfriend, her friend, and everyone they know blame him for killing a guy who was going to rape her.
