the 1st 8 episodes are great but after that a total disaster for the rest of the show
shareI've recently bought and finished watching the first season and really liked it. I felt some parts of the story felt a little rushed and I don't think that things have fully been resolved for a lot of the characters but what I find really disappointing is that Devon, Trent and Dawn aren't around for the second season (which I've just ordered on DVD). You can't really resolve a storyline with characters missing!

Just takes me back to that summer and it was perfect because it was around the time Degrassi was transitioning to a newer cast, so I was beginning to lose interest. So disappointing how they waited forever to bring it back and then abandoned everything that made the show so great. Haven't watched it in years, but I might just get the DVDs, too.

puh-lease. the channel was still called 'the-n' when season 2 aired
Changing the name didn't ruin the network or it's shows. going 24/7 when they only had like 15 shows on their hands did.
The minute the network went 24/7, that's when all the newer nickelodeon shows like Zoey 101, drake and josh, icarly, and unfabulous were added.... And the network was still called 'the-n'
They could have named the channel "hookers and poop". it was still going downhill while it was under the name 'the-n'
