are any of you at Merchant Ivory ever gonna fix your lawsuit problems and release this film. has anyone heard anything?
I was wondering the same thing.
And nowhere can I find any news updates of it!
Merchant Ivory has finally straightened out their financing and legal issues, the film has been bonded and filming is complete. Jorge Drexler ("The Motorcycle Diaries") is composing the score. The film will most likely premiere at Sundance (January) or the Berlin Film Festival (February).
sharethats great I hope it releases soon. i heard rumors that james ivory will retire now. hes 77 i think and his partner passed away. the game of hollywood has exhausted him. who's running Merchant Ivory does anyone know.
It's not on the Sundance list so perhaps it has been delayed until Berlin or perhaps even Cannes.
