The Mystery, Magic and Wonders of Abu Ghraib...

...Or so the bloody stupid soundtrack by Danny Elfman makes the "footage" seem like.

The material and testimonials in this movie are so horrific and poignant, yet are totally demeaned and robbed of their full power by the ridiculous soundtrack, which conjures up Edward Scissor Hands and The Nightmare Before Christmas. I actually tried to turn off the sound and watch this movie with the subtitles only. Truly a shame, since the content of the movie should be known and disseminated. Way over-produced for a movie that should have tried to bring home the grotesqueries of torture instead of setting it to mystery music. So disappointing--it could have been so much more effective. Better off reading print material than seeing this distracting movie. It was hard to even pay attention to what was being said or narrated.
