Die hard 2:
The end music is "Finlandia" by Jean Sibelius
Cliffhanger:
I think there was a parachute that had the same colors as Finland's flag
Cutthroat Island:
Finnish flag
Deep Blue Sea:
Had something Finnish in it but can't remember exactly what it was.
Long Kiss Goodnight:
Finlandia vodka
Mindhunters:
Finnish flag
Driven:
Flags and in the beginning of the movie you can hear Finnish speaking commentators.
Renny Harlin also makes cameo appearances in some of the movies.
In Deep Blue Sea there was Finlandia vodka as well as in LKG. In the scene early on "Preacher" (LL Cool J) serves vodka in McAllisters (Saffron Burrows) suprise birthday party...
Development stops in satisfaction
Are you all finnished now?
shareFinnish style crepes too... if you check out whats on the menu.
share'Adventures of Ford Fairlane' had Finlandia vodka too. And Finnish playboy girl Kata Kärkkäinen was in the funeral blow job scene :)
And in Exorcist: The Beginning there was several Finland references:
Finnish flag in the movie
Antti Jokinen as second unit director
Matti Ristinen as the priest at the very beginning of the movie, the first character to appear on the screen.
And Mindhunters had music by Tuomas Kantelinen plus Finland was one of the production countries...
Yep, Helsinki is the capital city of Finland, if someone didn't know. Also, there was a word "Heini" in the other pole. It's a Finnish girl's name.
shareThere was also a small Finnish flag and national coat of arms (crowned lion) decals on a mirror.

What is it in this film that has something to do with Finland, Soumi...
Hell, Sin and a Key? Is that what you think?

I think it's just a director trademark thing like Hitchcock used to do. Besides Helsinki, there was a Finnish coat of arms and flag on the mirror when Tom is talking to Eddie in the crappy hotel room.
