Is it so hard to believe Dean really loves Tori?

There are some people out there who think that Dean is only with Tori for her money and fame (like my Mother). I think most people who watch the show, see that Tori is wonderful, funny, caring, sensitive, and an incredibly sweet person with a heart of gold - and might I say she is very attractive. Is she Angelina Jolie in the looks department? No - but she is very well groomed, has a nice thin body and looks great in clothes. If she was walking down the street, you would definitely look at her even if you didn't know who she was.

If all of us - especially the overwhelming majority of people on this board who didn't care about or like Tori before the show have learned to love and respect her, why should it be so far fetched that Dean loves her too for all of the reasons we do. She also seems to have some very caring friends who love her for the right reasons too.

I've watched the show here and there, and I don't have a strong opinion about Tori and Dean, but they do come off as a loving, caring couple.

I had no idea people think Dean doesn't love Tori and is only with her for her fame and fortune. From what I've seen of the show, I never got that vibe...

I totally agree. I never had a strong opinion one way or the other about Tori until I saw this show - and now I love her. Honestly, I *do* think that, in theory, it is sleazy that she & Dean hooked up while they were both still married to other people - but I believe that they are truly in love. Tori seems really sweet, funny, charming, caring, etc. - and Dean seems to genuinely adore her. I don't think he's in it for money or fame. Tori is also someone who has gotten more attractive with age. I don't think she was the most attractive teenager, but honestly, who is??? She has really grown into herself, and I think she's downright pretty now - especially with the way she wears clothes & paired with her cute personality.

Her boobs are another story, though... Those are wonky for sure.

No, it is not hard to believe for me. I think she is a sweetheart who is trying very hard to have the type of family she never had and always wanted. They both work and contribute, so it's not like he is living high off the hog.

I can't imagine anyone getting that impression if they watched the show. Those two really work together as a family unit and seem totally committed to each other and the kids - granted, I think Tori works harder but maybe it's just that it's in her nature. She really is quite the multi-tasker! Never expected to like her so much but after watching the show, she's very impressive and I think an amazingly well-rounded woman considering her upbringing. I'd be a total obnoxious brat if I was A.S.'s kid. :)

I don't see Dean doing a whole lot to bring in income. Tori seems to be working day & night and taking care of her kids, her home, and everyone else.

Right Now, I don't think Tori WANTS him to have a job. She has him right where she wants him (taking care of the kids) while she does her jewelry, kids clothing line, her books, hanging out with her gays, planning parties, etc.
