Dean's friends and family

Why does it seem like they are MIA for Liam and Stella's parties? Does he not have any friends? Does his family not care?

They're all in Canada, I'd guess. But, it IS noticeable that they're never part of the show. His son has been on there.

I can't say I feel sorry for him. Dean kinda seems like a tool most of the time. Tori, yes, is all Hollywood. But, look at how she grew up. Considering that, she's actually pretty down to earth. On Mon. night's ep, Dean was concerned about how over the top Tori was going while she was planning Liam's birthday party. He said, "I don't know any kids who have parties like our kid." And Tori's response was, "I had 'em every year of my life." I've read her books, and the parties she's planned since I've been watching the show have been very similar to hers growing up. Remember the snow? She had that when she was little. Except at least she invites her kids' friends, and not mostly adults, like her parents did (her mother). She's pretty down to earth, considering how she grew up. Nothing's wrong w/her having tons of friends and family (which she really *hasn't* had a lot of). If Dean want's to have his friends and family around, I don't get the feeling that Tori would prevent that. Dean allows that happen. I think IF it is a problem, he should step up, and get more involved w/his own friends and family. Make them part of the mix as well.

Then again, maybe his friends/family don't wanna be part of the show.

His sister flew in for something, I recall. His extended family are all in Canada. And who knows, maybe they would rather their visits not be done during filming. I know that if I had a relative with a reality show, I would decline being filmed.

If you're not responding to me, "reply" to the post you're responding to. kthanks.
