In that scene Juliette complains about young girls working so many hours every day, and Tareq kind of excuses it and says something like, "It's complicated." Can anyone explain exactly what he means?
shareHe probably means they come from poor familes where every one has to work regardless. Its a question of eating and having a roof over their heads. Also, I think, small hands are needed to tie knots in weaving.
