Is it just me who feels sad for the wee blue guy(iggle piggle..?) who sleeps all by himself in the boat with that sad tune playing as he floats opver the waves.......
The tune doesn't strike me as sad at all - I think it's very calming, reassuring and affectionate.
It looks like a very pleasant and surreal end to a little kid's day, winding them down rather than up :-)
My toddler loves this, the theme song always seems to calm him down if he's acting up. Its a real earworn that haas a real dreamy feel to it.
Looking at the comments some people think its weird, they should check out The Magic Roundabout or Jamie and the Magic Torch, those had to have been made by people with questionable smoking habits! ;)
I've started watching it with my 10 month old girl, and the whole Iggle Piggle thing breaks my heart. It really does.
The whole thing is in his head, and the poor little dude is lost at sea. It's a heartbreaking premise when you delve deeper into the psychology of it.
I now know each character tune off by heart and find myself humming them in work. I'm fúcking ruined.
