I Appreciate Attempts At Originality, But-- (SPOILERS!)

I really do think the writers were trying to do something that would veer away from the standard "monster on the loose" syndrome, and I thank them for that effort, but--

"I guess the monster forgave us"????????? Really? The monster which was inciting death-causing hallucinations in people who had never intentionally done anything to injure or annoy it is blythely let off the hook for those deaths because it FORGAVE us? Terrible ending. I was going to give this effort a solid "7" rating, but that bit of hippie-dippie-loonie philosophy bumped the score down to a below-passing "2" from me.

Pretty lucky that the monster understood Native American language, isn't it? Steve V.
