I thought this movie waz going to be bad but after i watched it i waz like wow this is a good movie i dont know what anyone else thinks because everyone got their own opinions but i liked this movie alot to me this waz way better then the first bloodrayne
I still think Milla Jovovich would make a great bloodrayne
I haven't seen Bloodrayne II yet, it's in the mail should be getting it this week sometime. Got it for my collection of Jodelle Ferland which i feel and hope will hit it big soon on the big screen!
And even tho i haven't seen the movie, Milla Jovovich would ge GREAT!!!!
Ya know, it wasn't great but it was by far not bad. I was actually really cool with it. The new Rayne was a little weak, but the supporting cast was great. The score was good. Chris Coppola was awesome. The dialogue had some terrible but funny one liners.
I bought it because Uwe asked me to, and I was a little pissed at the 25 dollar price, but hey, I ended up enjoying it. Totally different from the first.
I still think Uwe Boll distroed what could have been a great movie on both of them the only movie i have seen from him i even remotely like was House of the dead "could have done with out game footage"
But as for this movie someone stop him from doing movies
I actually liked it to not the bset but not horrible just "decent" I guess along with BR. 1 and Alone in the dark, havent watched in the name of the king but I do have the DVD.
LOL OMG!! BloodRayne 1 was better compared this this Dwreck. This is way crappier movies keep getting made, because of folks with no taste for excellence.
And they didn't desecrate the source material, unlike almost all other videogame adaption.
Mortal Kombat was one of the best Video-Game to movie adaptations. Even Lara Croft Tomb Raider movies and the Hitman movie were better than this. I wouldn't even categorize Blood Rayne 1 or 2 as Vampire movies!

I have to admit, I enjoyed the film, despite the fact that I really wanted it to suck badly...I'm a major fan of bad movies, but this was slightly above mediocre at best.
Save for some sloppy steadicam work and Billy the Kid's inexplicably European accent, it was rather decent for a straight-to-video flick.
I think it was just handheld rather than steadicam. Boll and his DP have been doing the handheld thing for their last few features for some reason. Seed, Stoic, Tunnel Rats, Rampage and Final Storm are all shot in the same style. I didn't mind it though. It reminded me a low-budget vampire themed retread of Michael Winterbottom's film The Claim.
I also thought the spaghetti western references were very well observed and authentic.
I liked it too. BloodRayne 2 is a very cheap, cheesy and corny movie but I enjoyed it. It would have made a great Syfy Original Movie. If you don't have to high expectations, it's really fun to watch.
