Saw it at Savannah Film Fest

Julie Markell was there personally for the screening. She was a nice woman but the movie absolutely stunk. The accents were way overdone but the worst part was the script. I've haven't seen such a boring and useless movie this year. The most exciting part of the movie is the losing of the teardrop diamond then the rest of the movie is talking about it. There was not an exciting character or event that happens. Actually the best part was the opening sequence then a gradual slope to nothing. What a boring, slow, mundane movie.

On Rottentomatoes the critcs said the worts part it's the script.

This is my gift, this is my curse. Who I am? I'm spider-man!

I've heard that it's the script too. That it wasn't really fleshed out but they didn't want to change an original Tennessee Williams screenplay.

I thought they DID change the script?!

this played in savannah? yikes! ROTFLMFAO

i bet everyone laughed too hard at this. the accents were atrocious

....that AUDACITY of a filmmaker premiering this wannabe southern movie in savannah. i guess they thought 'if we open it there, it will confirm the movie's southernness' or something.

didn't work. this movie came off as yankees pretending (poorly i might add) to be southerners
