Not as bad as I thought...

Not a complete waste of 6 bucks. I thought this would be an overdone latino movie, as they all usually are, however this was actually slightly endearing. The girls coping and getting into their environment was touching.

Could have used MORE Wilmer of course, and Nick, but not bad.

Had some funny moments.

I agree. There were a couple of cheesy lines here and there, but overall I liked it.

Actually it was just as bad as I thought but not worse (so that's a plus)

Over the years I have seen a number of movies built around the novel Sense And Sensibility and have, to varying degrees, enjoyed them all. This one is no exception.

I also find it refreshing to watch a movie featuring Mexican characters that does not involve guns and drugs.

We liked it. Not sure I'd buy it, but we've watched it on Netflix and will likely watch it again since we are Jane Austen fans and have most movies based on her works.

I don't care that much, but am a little surprised it comes in only at a ~5 rating. I thought more folks might like it more than that.

Never read Sense and Sensibility nor did I watch the Hillary Duff version but this one was pretty humbling. The Mexican community is pretty tight so it was nice to see it. Plus I've lived in SoCal so I know.

I agree. I warmed up to it more than I expected. The start was really quite shaky.
