Wasn't Wilmer's character a gang member

The skull tattoos, the 13... aren't those like Evil Skull and MS13 type things. There were 13s on the graffiti too. Very weird that they would brush over this.It's like saying its okay to date a gang member.



He might be a reformed gang member but the fact that he joined in the first place would be deterrent enough for me. It's all fun and romantic until some gang members shoot up your house.

In fact why didn't he have the tattoos removed if he is out. Actually can you get out of a gang like that. And teaching those kids to paint. SMH.

Very sketchy movie and seriously mixed message.
