Camilla Belle's ORANGE face

watched this on high-def. i was distracted throughout the whole movie by Camilla Belle's glowing orange face. the rest of her body was a normal pale-brown, which only served to contrast even more with her florescent face.

anybody else notice this? i assume it is due to either makeup incompatibility with the cameras, or an unfortunate result of tanning cream to try to make her look more "ethnic."

either way, it's kind of funny.

Yeah, Alexa had an orange face too. It must have been the makeup crew. Definitely noticeable.

Her face was very orange, and her hair looked wet 90% of the movie! Anyone else notice that?

reply

Yes! The wet hair & orange face combo was so distracting!

they both looked orange to me.

I came here just to comment on that myself. It was on Showtime and I happened upon it somewhere in the middle of the film so I had no clue that she was suppose to be portraying Mexican-American. Her and Alex Vega both had orange skin throughout the movie.

Am watching this movie now on the Kindle. It was the first thing I noticed about C Belle, but I see more of burnt orange... Way too much of a fake spray tan that a lil faded & totally distracting. Plus, when she was drinking tequila: they should've just like her have some for real cuz her "drunk" acting skills aren't up to par, IMO.

I see now in the trivia it says that both actresses had to get a spray tan "to look more Mexican." The makeup crew could've attempted a better job on Nora's face. It stands out too much. Did no one think to blend it??

This distracted me through the whole movie, I know they had to get spray tanned but sheesh they looked horrible, other than that i loved this movie
