Did that janitor/spirit guide guy show up somewhere in Preest's world?

Hmmm. I don't think so. Which in it's own way is logical. Remember when the father shows the janitor his son's picture? The janitor says, "He's lost." Preest/David is in another realm, lost in a violent fantasized fanaticism.

"I'd never ask you to trust me. It's the cry of a guilty soul."

Wasn't the bartender at the beginning the same guy as the janitor? I'm not sure.
