The only thing that annoyed me was the audiance around the stage....

...they seemed fake to me. Too many young girls dancing like they are in a video and were cast by VH1. They look like plants. I know I am wrong, and I doubt that was The Stones or Scorsese's intention. Maybe I was spoiled by Woodstock and The Last Waltz and seeing how the audiance look there (diffrent time period). I was happy when the camera panned to the balcony and I saw what appeared to be normal people.

Actually, you are NOT wrong. They were plants. But apparently, it was worse the 1st night. I felt the audience was a bit detached. I wanted people leaning on the stage trying to touch the bands legs and stuff. And there was not nearly enough footage of Charlie.

I'm getting the blu-ray for Xmas from the Mrs.

That was what I saw, they seemed so detached and just dancing, finally towards the ennd I saw real people like the guy holding up the sign from California, and the people holding beer glases in their hands. But it is the people directly infron ot the stage dancing with their arms in the air and all wearing Stones T-Shirts (at one point during Sympathy For The Devil, during Keith's solo their is a girl behind him doing a nicely choreographed hand clap dance and not even excited he is right in front of her, just dancing.)It would have helped if the normal people were in from of the stage. I really think that was The Stones call.

I agree with all the above posters. The phony babes in the front rows were zombie-like. Lame tactic. The last 20 minutes of the film were the best because the audience was finally genuinely hyped up.

True, oneseat, they are annoying. If I was that near to the stage watching the Stones I'd be going crazy, but the audience seems to be made up of posers and 'beautiful people' who would rather be somewhere else by the look of things.

fake, plastic dolls, maybe they got beyonce in their mp3 players....the fake smiles to the camera and the Jagger shoes ruins the performance for me. Ok u cant put people without teeths in the fist row, but i know thousand of passionate fans that would give an arm for being there (ok, prosthetics arent camera friendly).
