I discovered the show in 2014!

I love Jonny in Elementary, but I still miss Eli Stone. Some fantastic shows have gotten the axe way too soon......Eli Stone, American Dreams, just to name a couple.

I only just discovered it as well - picked it up randomly out of a pile of ex-rentals when a video store was closing down.

I'm with everyone who thinks that shows like this are wasted on networks - this could've been an absolute hit on a cable.

Admittedly it took me a few eps to get into it - the quirkiness seemed a tad forced to start with. However, once I did - I loved it. It is one of only 2 downright likable shows I've ever seen (along with Veronica Mars). It has everything - it manages to balance humour and sincerity, it's quirky, has a cast of utterly lovable, well-acted and well-cast characters (Chen being the one weakness), song and dance numbers, stylish outfits and clever dialogue. Most importantly - it is deeply human and tackles nothing less than the meaning of life. The only other show that does that for me is 6 Feet Under.

Even the religious overtones aren't suffocating (and religion makes me want to throw up) because the writers took the right course and carefully avoided any association with structured religion. Had there been any mention of George Michael[/spoiler] being the Christian God, I would've been disgusted.

What can I say - long live Eli Stone

I discovered it after finding and watching 'Elementary.' However, if I had a Jonnie Lee Miller yen, 'Eli Stone' cured me of it. His character was just not that well-developed. Lots of wide-eyed looks, kind of batting his eyelashes from time to time, not at all attractive! I wondered how the Bridget Moynahan character wasn't bored with him sooner.

Yet, knowing that he's a Brit, seeing him in 'Elementary,' I have to think Miller is ultra-talented and just wasted with these shows.

And yet my wife loves his quirky looks and expressions.
